Dover sole (or king of the soles) is a long, slipper-shaped flatfish - delicate and flavourful with a crisp white flesh, and an almost sweet taste.
We supply Dover sole in a range of sizes to suit the number of people you're serving - it is supplied as a whole fish - gutted and cleaned - to cook on the bone.
Here's a quick guide to buying:
Small: 450g-550g = 1-2 people
Medium: 550g-700g = 2 people
Large: 800g-900g = 2-3 people
Availability may sometimes be impacted by poor weather.
Please note: weights above are for whole fish. If you ask for your fish to be filleted and skinned, this will reduce the total weight. If you would like your Dover sole off the bone and filleted, please leave a note at the checkout.
